AHHHH PINTEREST

So on this LOVELY Sunday afternoon her in Perth, I have been looking on the net for ideas for baby boy crochet items. This morning I was asked to make a gift for a friend to give to her new nephew. Have you discovered http://www.pinterest.com/ yet???? If it not on there is doesn't exit. I have boards for scrapping, recipes, organising ...the list goes on. BE WARNED its a BIGGGG time eater!!  There is just soo much to see and then at some point actually DO!!!  You can share any of you pins on Facebook AND if you use GOOGLE CHROME you can pin pretty much anything you see that you might like. WHAT on earth did we all do without all of this technology??

So now is a good time to share a few of my crcoheted goodies with you.

And this is a LOVELY lilac set I made for an order :)


So best I go pick up my crochet hook and START instead of searching Pinterest and blogging.

WELCOME

WELCOME..to my first blog post from Glimmer and Grunge.  The name "Glimmer and Grunge" is the name I use when I am making knitted and crocheted goodies but this blog is about me and ALLL that I do.

I am a Mum of 2 . My eldest is 17 in 5 days and youngest is 14 this year in May. Have been married to my husband for 20 years this year.

I love craft of almost any type although crochet, knitting and scrapbooking are my favourites.

I have been wanting to start a new blog for a while now where I could share household tips, craft tips and maybe a few inspirational tips to.

I breed cats!! Ragdolls and Persians and last year , RELUCTANTLY started showing.  I so far am enjoying it and will probably go to my first show in March.

Hubby breeds and shows chooks (chickens). We also have a 9 year old Rottweiler ( called Kye)  and a Neopolitan Mastiff Puppy named Bella. I had forgotten what hard work puppies were !!!

It has been the Christmas school holidays here but Monday the girls go back to school..a time I hate :( . I love having my girls home but I have to accept the fact they are getting older and this is our big girls last year in school!!! Will probably be a few tears shed by me. 

So Now that I have started this blog , I hope to be able to make a post every couple of days. I hope it will be somewhere you will visit for a smile and maybe to share something with the rest of us.
